Piano Lessons

FALL DETAILS:

In-Studio Lessons Semester Package:
- $23/lesson for 16 lesson package, $368 for semester with $15 cash discount available. Sibling discounts are available for families with multiple kids enrolled.
Per Lesson: $25 per 30 minute lesson
Dates: Week of January 12 – Week of May 18
- Studio is closed with no lessons:
  - February 16 – 20
  - Holy Week recess: Sunday March 29 – Sunday April 5 2026 (Easter)
  - April 13 – April 17
  - Summer Break: Studio will be closed from May 25 – July 6 2026.
Makeup dates: Sometimes things come up! I will try to fit you in on an alternate night if you cannot make your scheduled lesson time. Students may carryover 2 lesson credits into the next semester. Lessons missed without notice are nonrefundable.

Students are required to practice during the week. Upright pianos or electric keyboards are OK, but should be a full 88 keys and have weighted keys. I am happy to help recommend pianos, and even have a few uprights waiting for a student to adopt them! Do you have a piano at home?

I agree to adhere to South Funk Studio policies and guidelines, and do promise to approach the joy of learning music seriously.

Lesson Time: Lessons are currently being offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
In-Home Lessons are available if certain stipulations are met. Home must contain an acoustic piano. Full keyboards with weighted keys will be evaluated to determine if acceptable. The space for pianos lessons should be free of distraction, clutter, and excessive noise. A travel fee of $15/lesson will be included in the lesson package, and $1.25/mile outside of a 10 mile radius will be added to the lesson fee.
